Recently, the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Information Technology released the list of Shanghai’s manufacturing single-champion enterprises for 2024. Among them, CH Control Equipment (Shanghai) Company and its nuclear safety-grade control valve products were successfully selected.

For a long time, CH Control Equipment (Shanghai) Company has been actively implementing the strategy of building a manufacturing power, promoting breakthroughs in key core technologies, and enhancing the brand of “Made in Shanghai”. Not only has the development and application of the main feedwater regulating valve for nuclear power been completed, but also the research and development of key products such as the national major project “High Temperature and High Pressure Difference Electric Control Valve” and “Nuclear-grade Pneumatic Stop Valve and Regulating Valve”, as well as the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology project “Valve Position Indicator”, have been successfully accomplished. After appraisal by the committee headed by Academician Ye Qizhen, it was determined that the above-mentioned project has independent intellectual property rights, fills the domestic gap, and its main technical indicators have reached the advanced level of similar international products. It can be promoted and applied in nuclear power plants. During the research and development period, several key technologies such as “Bellows Control Valve”, “Valve with Carbon Graphite Sealing Ring”, “Sleeve Control Valve”, and “Guide Cover for Overcoming the Impact of Two-phase Flow on the Valve Body” were patented.

It is learned that a total of 129 enterprises and their products were selected as the city’s manufacturing industry single champions this time.
