Quality Control
I. Full-process Quality Control System
In accordance with ISO 9001 and API Q1 specifications, we establish a complete control framework covering raw material incoming inspection through assembly and final testing.
⚫Raw material incoming check: Verify material test certificates and conduct re-inspection via spectral analysis to ensure the grade and chemical composition of valve body, ball, stem and sealing components match specifications.
⚫Machining & assembly: Critical dimensions are inspected piece by piece, and all machining parameters are fully recorded. Components are cleaned prior to assembly to guarantee consistency.
⚫Cleanliness management: The valve cavity is flushed under high pressure after machining, and final assembly is completed in a clean environment to eliminate residual impurities.
II. Finished Product Testing Before Delivery
Every valve must pass the following tests before shipment:
⚫Shell strength test: Per ISO 5208 and API 598, hydrostatic pressure at 1.5 times nominal pressure is maintained for 3~5 minutes; no deformation or leakage of the valve body is permitted.
⚫Sealing performance test: Low-pressure and high-pressure tests are carried out in accordance with ISO 5208. Leakage rates are classified from Class A to G, and soft-seated valves require Class A zero leakage.
⚫Operating torque: Measured at fully open and fully closed positions according to API 6D to ensure smooth operation within the designed range.
⚫Material composition verification: Direct reading spectrometer is adopted to verify alloy element content complying with ASME B16.34 and ASTM standards.
⚫Fire safe test: Tested under flame temperature of 750°C~1000°C for 30 minutes as per API 607 or ISO 10497 to inspect sealing performance after fire exposure.
⚫Fugitive emission test (when applicable): Stem and joint volatile leakage is tested in compliance with ISO 15848 to meet EPA and EU BREF requirements.
III. International Standard References
We mainly comply with API 598, ISO 5208, ISO 17292; ASME B16.34, API 6D, ASME B16.10; as well as API 607, ISO 15848, ISO 14723 and other standard systems.
IV. Quality Traceability & Document Delivery
Each valve is assigned a unique serial number. Reports of material recheck, in-process inspection and final testing are linked to the serial number to realize full-lifecycle traceability. A complete document package is delivered to satisfy requirements of international engineering projects.
From raw materials to finished goods, rigorous systems and high-standard testing ensure every ball valve withstands working conditions and long-term service.
We can conduct full-range testing in accordance with standards specified by target markets, issue corresponding inspection reports and material certificates EN 10204, and support CE/PED EU pressure equipment certification, to meet global engineering bidding and procurement demands for stainless steel ball valve, 3 piece ball valve, motorized ball valve and high pressure ball valve.
