On the afternoon of March 7th, the second executive meeting of the sixth term of Wenzhou Pump and Valve Industry Association and the expanded meeting of the president for the first quarter of 2025 were successfully held at Wenzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center. The conference focused on the high-quality development of the pump and valve industry, and conducted in-depth discussions on core topics such as policy interpretation, market layout, and industry collaboration, aiming to reach a consensus and draw up a blueprint for building a more competitive pump and valve industry chain in Wenzhou.

Before the meeting, the representatives collectively visited the 32nd China (Wenzhou) International Industrial Expo, drawing inspiration from the cutting-edge industrial technology displays and gaining insights into the development trends of the industry.

At the beginning of the meeting, the marketing manager of CH Control Equipment Company emphasized in his speech that in the face of the complex and changeable market environment, Wenzhou pump and valve enterprises should adjust their mindset and stabilize first before developing. Leverage the differentiated advantages of Wenzhou’s pump and valve industry, link up the upstream and downstream of the industrial chain, and seize the high ground of the global value chain with the dual-wheel drive of “quality + brand”.

Subsequently, representatives of the newly joined vice president units introduced the advantages and development visions of their enterprises, injecting fresh vitality into the association.

The meeting simultaneously announced the core data of the pump and valve industry in 2024 and released the key work plan of the association for 2025: deepening industrial chain collaboration, conducting investigations in key domestic industrial clusters and overseas markets; In October, a series of activities for the 25th anniversary of the founding of the association and the second general meeting of members of the sixth term will be held. In collaboration with the “Pump and Valve Industry Week”, high-end events such as the International Pump and Valve Exhibition and Technology Summit will be held. Optimize the functions of the secretariat, carry out training and exchanges on a regular basis, and promote the sharing of member resources.

Ke Youyuan from the Industry Division of the Economic and Information Technology Bureau of Wenzhou City briefly introduced the key points of the work for the cultivation and development of the pump and valve industry in Wenzhou City in 2025, emphasizing the improvement of the “chain leader system” of the pump and valve industry chain to promote the development of the industry chain.

Zhu Changfeng, deputy director of the Industry Division of the Wenzhou Municipal Bureau of Economy and Information Technology, provided a detailed interpretation of the relevant policies for the pump and valve industry in 2025 to the enterprises present. The policy clearly states that it will add one enterprise with an annual investment of over 1 billion yuan, two national-level green and low-carbon factories, and two specialized, refined, distinctive and innovative “little giant” enterprises. It will also implement over 100 intelligent technological transformation projects, striving for a growth of about 5% in the pump and valve industry. Moreover, it will support the research and development of high-end pumps and valves through financial subsidies and technological cooperation. Relying on the foundation of being the “Pump and Valve Capital of China”, we will build an industrial cluster with international competitiveness.
