CHCV is in the process of obtaining a utility model patent authorization for an invention titled “A Smoothly Opening and Closing Fixed Ball Valve.”
The utility model relates to a smoothly opening and closing fixed ball valve, comprising a valve body, a ball core, a valve cover, and a medium passage. The valve cover is connected to the valve body and together they enclose a valve cavity. The ball core is arranged within the valve cavity. The medium passage is connected to the valve cavity, and a valve seat is provided at the inner port of the medium passage. The ball core has an outer spherical surface, and the valve seat has a sealing mating surface which cooperates with the outer spherical surface to provide sealing. The sealing mating surface of the valve seat is further provided with anti‑adsorption annular grooves, which are centered on the centerline of the valve seat. At least one annular groove is provided on the valve seat.
This smoothly opening and closing fixed ball valve effectively prevents the ball core from adhering to the valve seat, thereby ensuring normal valve operation. It overcomes problems such as unsmooth operation, sticking, and jitter during valve opening and closing caused by adsorption between the ball core and the valve seat, and thus also improves the service life of the valve.
The structure of this smoothly opening and closing fixed ball valve can be widely applied in fixed ball valves that require frequent switching, as well as in other types of fixed ball valves.
In 2025, the company’s R&D investment increased by 2.47% year‑on‑year.
