On June 3, 2026, China Nuclear Engineering Corporation Co., Ltd. published the winning bid announcement for the “Procurement of Motorized Ball Valve Equipment for Phase I of the Huaneng Xiapu Nuclear Power Project (PWR)”. According to the announcement, CHCV Valve Co., Ltd. successfully won the bid, with a contract value of RMB 24,999,345.00.
The Huaneng Xiapu Nuclear Power Project, located in Xiapu County, Ningde City, Fujian Province, is the third large-scale PWR nuclear power project developed under the controlling stake of China Huaneng Group. The project plans to construct 5 nuclear power units in phases, with Phase I comprising two “Hualong One” PWR units, each with a single-unit capacity of 1,215 MWe. This project is of great significance for promoting the domestication of nuclear power equipment and facilitating the green transformation of China’s energy structure.
