Hose Ball Valve for Garden & Industrial Use – Full Port, Threaded
Shop durable hose ball valves in brass & stainless. Full port design ensures high flow. Threaded & barbed connections for garden, industrial, & air lines. Reliable shut-off.
Description
In fluid control systems, the hose ball valve is a key component for rapid pipeline on/off switching and safe shutoff.
With a 90° rotation, it achieves full open or full close, making it particularly suitable for applications requiring frequent connection or disconnection of hoses.
Whether in water treatment, agricultural irrigation, or pneumatic piping, the hose ball valve provides reliable sealing performance and long service life.
Hose Ball Valve Structure & Materials
CHCV’s hose ball valves are manufactured with high-standard materials. The valve body is available in Brass or 304/316 Stainless Steel to meet the corrosion resistance requirements of different media. The ball and stem are precision-machined, and combined with PTFE seats, they effectively reduce operating torque while ensuring zero-leakage sealing within a temperature range of -20°C to +150°C.
Connections & Specifications
This series offers multiple connection methods to suit different hose diameters:
-
Female/Male Thread (NPT/BSPP): Suitable for metal or high-pressure hoses.
-
Hose Barb: Suitable for rubber or PVC hoses, easy to install.
-
Push-in Fitting: Suitable for pneumatic piping, enabling quick tubing connection.

Hose Ball Valve Application Scenarios
-
Agriculture & Gardening (Garden Hose Ball Valve): Used in fertilizer spraying and livestock watering systems, with strong weather resistance and simple operation.
-
Industrial Fluid Conveying: In low-pressure pneumatic piping or liquid transfer, the inline ball valve serves as a main shutoff valve, facilitating equipment maintenance.
-
Construction & Municipal: Installed as a hose bibb ball valve at outdoor pipe outlets, effectively preventing backflow and featuring anti-theft water functionality.
In daily use, users often pay attention to the compatibility and service life of such valves. For example, when purchasing, it is necessary to clarify the interface size of the “ball valve hose bib” (typically 3/4″ GHT) and the difference from ordinary NPT threads.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q1: How to distinguish the connection of a standard ball valve from a hose ball valve?
A1: The main difference lies in the outlet end. The outlet of a hose ball valve is typically designed as a Hose Barb or thread (NPT/BSP) for connecting hoses, whereas a standard ball valve usually has female threads on both ends for connecting steel pipes. Before ordering, please confirm your hose inner diameter and the required pressure rating.
Q2: Is this ball valve durable in high-pressure washers or pneumatic tool piping?
A2: Very durable. Our standard product has a working pressure of 1000 PSI (6.9 MPa). For higher-pressure water jets or specific chemical media, we recommend selecting the Full Port stainless steel model to reduce pressure loss and erosion. In addition, the PTFE seat offers excellent wear resistance and self-lubricating properties, ensuring smooth operation over long periods.
